Bellevue Botanical Garden

The Bellevue Botanical Garden comprises 36 acres of display gardens, rolling hills, woodlands, meadows and wetlands offering an ever-changing panorama of greenery and color. Garden features include the famous Northwest Perennial Alliance perennial border, waterwise garden, Yao Japanese garden, fuchsia gardens, ground cover garden, special displays, botanical reserve, loop trail and visitor center with gift shop. It's a unique combination of horticulture education, scenic beauty, special events, and volunteer opportunities.

Downtown Snohomish

Downtown Snohomish is a great location. Starting at 1st St and D Ave eastward there is lots of interesting stuff. There are great vintage brick walls in the ally between 1st St and 2nd St. There is a nice gazebo at Blackman's museum. There is another gazebo about half a block off of 1st St toward the river that you can see from 1st St. Then, this neat old vaudeville theater at 1st St and Maple St, about five blocks east of D Ave that has all kinds of neat old junk out front.

Evergreen Arboretum

Wouldn't it be wonderful to visit a place that had a large variety of plants, labeled and growing with compatible plants; a place that you could go to for inspiration for your own garden? And wouldn't it be great if you didn't have to fight traffic to get there? Well, have we got news for you! Right here in Snohomish County such a place exists. It's called the Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens. The facility is open daily year round from dawn to 10 PM (8 PM winter hours) free of charge.

Fort Steilacoom Park

Ft. Steilacoom Park is a wonderful regional facility for not only the City of Lakewood, but for all who come from throughout the Puget Sound area to experience all that the park has to offer.

Good for family sessions, senior sessions, engagement sessions etc.

Northwest Waterfall Survey

The purpose behind this website is to inventory, study and properly catalog and make known the stature and significance of the thousands and thousands of waterfalls which occur within the Pacific Northwest.  The USGS has started the task by mapping several hundred of these features, but thats largely the extent of their work.  The Northwest Waterfall Survey aims to not only provide information that will substantiate any existing data, but to also provide the first concrete record of just how many waterfalls there are in the region and how they measure up against the rest of the world.

The Museum of Flight

The Museum of Flight is a great location for taking pictures with unique architectural angles and airplanes of every shape and color.  It is a great place for photographers of all ages and skills.

The Museum of Flight is located South of downtown Seattle at the south end of Boeing Field / King County Airport; Exit 158 off Interstate 5.

Free Parking adjacent to the museum and Air Park.

Museum of Glass

The Museum of Glass provides a dynamic learning environment to appreciate the medium of glass through creative experiences, collections and exhibitions.

Ohme Gardens

Enjoy a refreshing respite at this amazing evergreen oasis in the heart of Washington State. Nearly a mile of natural stone pathways traverses the hillside gardens, ushering you past breathtaking panoramic views, towering cedars and firs, lush foliage, mesmerizing waterfalls and tranquil pools. Stone benches located throughout the grounds provide ample opportunities to savor the beauty of Ohme Gardens. The average time to tour the Gardens is one hour.

Owen Beach

Here you will find water, sand, bleached and weathered trees washed up on shore and greenery. Just up the road is Point Defiance Park.

Peninsula Park

Located in North Portland, OR. There you will find a gazebo that can accommodate 30 or more people for cover in case of a rainy-day session. The gazebo overlooks a rose garden and the surrounding park area is great for photo shoots too.

Point Defiance Park

The park is open from sunrise to approximately half an hour after sunset. The 702-acre Point Defiance Park is a popular destination for about two million people each year. Natural forest, saltwater beaches and spectacular views offer numerous possibilities for recreation, education and communing with nature.

Portland Japanese Garden

Located in Portland, Oregon, this garden's areas include a strolling pond garden, a tea garden, and a sand and stone garden.
